It was an all-American alliance claiming top spot at the BC Provincial VEX Robotics Championship held March 10 at the B.C. Institute of Technology. Five teams from the Exothermic Robotics Club from Redmond, Washington were amonst the six top teams in “A” division. Exothermic teams 10B, 10N and 10C defeated an alliance of Exothermic teams 10x, 10D and Gladstone Secondary’s team 2M to take home the top award. In the “B” division Gladstone teams 2S and 2G allied with team 1250S from Sentinel Secondary in West Vancouver to claim the B1 title, while the B2 title went to team 113X from Centennial Secondary in Coquitlam, allied with 1107Z from Richmond’s Cambie Secondary and 149C from GP Vanier Secondary in Courtenay.
