PYRS Introductory Coaching Workshop
PYRS is pleased to announce that we will again be offering our VEX Robotics Introductory Coaching Workshop.
This two day course will provide instruction and hands-on experience with the VEX system with a view to providing robotics program leaders with the skills they need to start and sustain a VEX based high school robotics program.
• This year’s offering will take place on June 17th-18th at U.Hill. Secondary School.
PYRS VEX Programming Workshop
We are also excited to announce that in response to demand from coaches, we will, this year for the first time, be offering a VEX Programming Workshop.
This two day workshop is targeted at coaches, educators and program leaders that have already completed the Introductory Workshop or who have experience with VEX and who would like to improve their programming skills and knowledge.
The course will cover topics such as basic autonomous and teleoperated functions, programming practice and use of sensors, setpoints and feedback loops.
There will be two separate offerings of this course. One in EasyC and the other in RobotC.
• The EasyC offering will take place at BCIT-Burnaby Campus on June 20th-21st.
• The RobotC offering will take place at Enver Creek in Surrey on June 24th-25th.
